Test Idea:

Improve Checkout Ease by offering CTAs to provide options to move directly to Checkout. Vary Mini-Cart CTAs to find out whether adding a “Checkout”-type button to the mini-cart would resonate with users.

Hypothesis:

  • By changing the position and style of the Mini-Cart CTAs (and corresponding hyperlinks), we will reduce user hesitation, increasing Checkout Visits, and Purchases.

Metrics:

  • ⬆️ AOV

  • ⬆️ Transactions

  • ⬇️ Bounces

Test idea: Vary Mini-Cart CTAs to find out whether adding a “Checkout”-type button to the mini-cart would resonate with users.

After above test results, we could then try below (3) variants. The last variant (v4) is to potentially test “Pay in 4” messaging to the mini-cart to help boost AOV.
